In 2006 San Francisco-based film-maker Alex Bendahan and his team made a short film of Rose and her work.

April 2010: Alex Bendahan premiered the film "Rose Murray: Portrait of a Photographer" at the St Barth Film Festival with a concurrent exhibition of prints at a local gallery.

October 2010: The film was shown at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Festival
